At ECS Computers, we provide a comprehensive and secure IT equipment disposal service. Our process ensures that your data is completely destroyed, giving you peace of mind and protecting your sensitive information.
How it works:
(1) Data Destruction
We ensure the security of your storage drive by storing it in our securely locked vault, leveraging the robust security of our former bank location. Your drive is kept safe for 30 days, providing you ample time to retrieve it if needed. If not retrieved within this period, we schedule its destruction within the following 90 days.
We physically destroy any data storage drives that have contained customer data to ensure data is not accessible by anyone else, ever!
After data destruction, we issue a Certificate of Data Drive Destruction for your records.
(2) Recycling and Refurbishing:
We recycle old parts, ensuring an environmentally responsible disposal.
Reusable parts that do not contain data are incorporated into refurbished devices.
Each refurbished device is equipped with a brand-new data storage drive, ensuring safety and reliability.
Non-reusable parts are sent off for WEEE certified recycling.
